How we create PickleProgress content

The goal is useful, verifiable guidance rather than publishing the largest possible number of pages.

Research

For rules, ratings and governing-body information, we prefer primary sources such as USA Pickleball. For product specifications, we prefer manufacturer documentation and supplement it with independent testing where useful.

Experience versus research

We distinguish between products and methods we have personally tested and those we have only researched. We do not describe a product as personally tested unless that is true.

AI use

AI may assist with research organization, outlining, editing and production. It is not treated as a source of truth. Claims that can change or materially affect a recommendation should be checked against appropriate sources.

Corrections and updates

Pages may be revised when rules, products, prices or evidence change. Material corrections should improve the existing page rather than silently preserving known errors.

Commercial content

If the site earns money from an affiliate relationship, that relationship will be disclosed. Commission rates will not determine the factual conclusions of a review or guide.
